Another great pattern by Jackie!  A shapely unbuttoned vest patterned with bold relief diamond motifs in an easy knit-purl bias chevron stitch.  Knit up quickly on large needles and bulky yarn of your choice for winter or summer wear. 

Woman's size small with changes for medium, medium-large, large and X-large in the [ ].    Finished chest measurement:  35-1/2 [38-1/4, 42-1/2, 45-3/4, 49]".  Guideline:  In choosing size, consider that you will be using a bulky weight yarn and allow for a finished chest measurement of 4" - 8" larger than actual bust measurement.  Hip-length version is 20 [22, 24-1/2, 27, 29]" long.  Cropped version is 13 {15, 16-1/2, 18, 19-1/2]" long.  Gauge = 3-1/2 stitches per inch over stockinette stitch.  

Skill Level:  Advanced beginner with some experience reading stitch charts.

Designed to knit quickly, this sleeveless cardigan is adaptable as either a cool weather vest or as a sleeveless summer cardigan depending on your choice of yarn. 

Design features are a bold textured chevron pattern and yoke shaping using the natural draw-in of a ribbed stitch.  The knitting is done entirely in one piece, with finished bands and buttonholes knit as-you-go.  This pattern is rated high in the "when you're done, you're done" category, because once the knitting is complete, only the shoulders need to be joined and buttons attached.  Woman's size medium, with changes for large in the [ ] brackets.  Finished chest measurement:  39-1/2" [46"].  Bulky weight yarn, approximately 500 [575] yards.  

Skill Level:  Intermediate knitter with experience reading stitch pattern charts.
