knit scarf of lace hearts that will give a nice, warm hug around the
neck.
Quick to knit on just 29 stitches and
easy enough for the experienced beginner with advancing knitting
skills. Row-by-row and charted instructions for the
interlocking hearts panel are included in the pattern.
The scarf begins with
a wavy eyelet rib stitch to represent the twists and turns in
life and ends with a band of interlocking hearts.
For the man on your
list, you may optionally choose to knit just the ribbing portion
of the scarf. Pretty any time in any color.
Allow 225 yards of DK or
light worsted weight yarn for 5" x 58" scarf, or desired length with
yardage adjustment. 4-½ stitches/inch, size U.S. 7/4.5 mm needles
suggested.
