Overview

My first goal has been, and always will be, to serve you with inspiration, color and service in hopes of helping you achieve your goals in knitting and weaving.  Technical web “stuff” is secondary to me and only comes in to play to achieve my first goal.

I hope this site map helps you to find your way around.  For quick links, see the sidebar on the left-hand side of each page.  If not, email me and I will be happy to help you find what you need.

Dyeing for your knitting and weaving pleasure,

Margaret

What’s New

Hand Painted Knitting and Weaving Yarns

Some colorways shown below may not be available at this time as I rotate them for your interest - and mine.  Stay tuned as you will see different ones pop up occasionally.

By Yarn Type

I continue to look for unique, fine, laceweight yarns to paint.  Some have come, gone and reappeared through the years as popularity and availability have ebbed and flowed.  These hand painted and hand dyed yarns are currently available.

There may be a yarn you thought was from Heritage Yarns and, in fact, maybe it was.  Check at the link above to see what yarns I have dyed in the past and may pop back up eventually.

By Colorway

Colorway is a term used by artists and decorators to describe a color combination.  Heritage Yarns colorways range from three to seven colors and an occasional nine colors in addition to the color migrations between each hue.

If you're missing a colorway from the collections below, it may be "resting," retired or was a limited or special edition.  Links reflect at least one yarn in stock in a given colorway.  Check at the Colorways Collections Menu to see the list of those colorways that may pop up on the lists below occasionally.
