Atlantic Moonglow Serenity cotton/rayon handwoven shawl by Deborah Cannon

I love this shawl!!! It's 7'6" long and 21" wide after washing and finishing. I used the whole skein of Atlantic Moonglow and dark turquoise 3/2 for the weft. I made a 100 end chain in the middle to Ikat and then two (one on each side) 60 end chains to stripe. That way I wasted less yarn and got the look I wanted. Deborah Cannon

Inspiration for this colorway was from a friend's recollection of early morning walks on the pier in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Simple yet stunning and iridescent when woven in dark teal.
