A beautiful rectangular scarf in double chevron-arched stockinette stitch lace pattern bordered by pillars of knotted lace stitch.

The pattern calls for approximately 450 yards or 2 oz. (60 g) of fine yarn for blocked measurements of 11" by 72".  Use size 6 U.S. (4.0 mm) needles or needle size to obtain gauge.  Gauge:  average of 5 sts. per inch over combination of border and main patterns after blocking under tension.  The scarf is shown on bottom left in Red Bluff.
