Möbius Zigzag - #A76 

Now available in a Möbius Zigzag Scarf Knitting Kit

Someone is sure to stop and ask you questions as you wear this dramatic, head-turning accessory with no wrong sides.  The stitch is reversible as is the möbius zigzag itself!  It is simply a rectangle joined with a half-twist.  To add to the drama, the zigzag edge makes its own collar and the variegation in the hand painted model shown on the left zigs and zags right along with it! 

You may also leave open as a scarf shown on the left by choosing your own favorite casting on and binding off method.

36" loop, 10" overall width, 200 yards sport or DK weight yarn. 5 sts./inch, size 8 U.S./5.0 mm. Pattern adjusts easily in width and length, as well as other yarn weights. Flexible, easy, and fun!

Top left, it is left as a scarf in What a Wonderful World rayon boucle and joined as a möbius bottom left.  These were knitted and photographed by Jackie and show the very dramatic movement of the colors.

Soft Cables Möbius Scarf - #A78   

An all time HeartStrings favorite!  This is a reversible type cable stitch so that there is no right or wrong side.  It can be worn as shown or resting comfortably around the neck and shoulders.  Very quick to knit for gifts!
 

Any yarn can be used and made to any size.  The finished scarf is approximately 10-1/2" wide.  Guidelines are given for two lengths and is easily adjustable for narrower or wider widths with longer, wider scarves requiring additional amounts of yarn.  The 40" length requires 265 yards in a worsted weight or 400 yards in a fingering weight yarn.

Loop-D-Loop - #A74 

An easy-to-knit scarf-like accessory with a point at one end to guide through a loop at the other.  Add extra flare with optional looped bead fringe at the pointed end.

Only five easy rows of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch welts in this pattern.  Two versions of the scarf are in this pattern:  the shorter length pictured and a narrower, longer tippet. 

If you like chenille and are afraid to knit with it due to worming, this is the answer - knit with mohair.  Or choose two or three other yarns to achieve a super-bulky gauge.  Heritage Yarns Fringe Benefit will add nice drape and high sheen along with the texture of Coconut Boucle and soft, matte-finish of Premier 5/2.

Skill Level:  Basic beginner knitting skills; some experience working with beads helpful although instructions are explicit for those unfamiliar.
