Jaggerspun
Zephyr Silk/Merino
Jaggerspun Zephyr
Silk/Merino is available in two sizes and put up in small, affordable
skeins to go with some of HeartStrings lace
knitting patterns and in a limited number of colors to
coordinate with Heritage Yarns
hand painted
yarns and
painted warps collections.
Zephyr is one of the nicest yarns I
have ever used in my knitting. It is 50% silk tussah/50% merino and
has a wonderful hand and is equally suited for knitting or weaving.

| Zephyr 2/18
Zephyr 2/18 is put up on
1.4 oz./500 yd. skeins. One skein is ample for most
lace scarf knitting patterns such as the Lead or Follow Lace
Scarf
shown below in Peacock (available in a
kit). And the price has been kept
very low so that you can knit a bevy of scarves in different colors.
You will really enjoy working with this luxury, laceweight yarn.

Jaggerspun Zephyr 2/18 silk/merino.
For a weaving warp, sett
at 18 for plain weave, 24 for twill or higher for a fancy or

hand painted yarns as
warp or with a
painted warp.

"Because of an on-going commitment
(personal) to knit a lot of fall and winter clothes for a 3-year-old
darling granddaughter, I hadn't done a lot with the Jaggerspun Zephyr
2/18 that I purchased in a special package from Heritage Yarns. But
Icouldn't resist doing something with one skein, at least. I had
to close my eyes and pick one at random because the colors were all so
lovely and inviting. I picked copper -- and immediately started a scarf
in the Vine Trellis pattern on size 4 needles. It is, to use a
word from commercials, the yarn is "scrumdillyicious"! It feels
terrific in my hands, running across my fingers. It knits up into
a soft, lovely fabric that shows clear stitch definition. And I
love it! So much so, in fact, that I've gone back and bought more
colors! The next scarf will be crocheted just for a change.
My big problem right now is that I'm not sure which of my friends should
get one of these lovelies as a gift!" ~ "Peg of Austin"

Jaggerspun Zephyr 2/18!
I received the yarns and
the pattern today and they are just stunning. You were absolutely right
about the blueberry. I will knit these and then be back for more. Once
again, thank you so much. I am so impressed with your service! Annie
