Cable Ride socks feature slipped stitch braided cable ribbing in multi-colored stripes alternating with solid contrasting color. The picot cuff edging is a nice detail to complement the braided cable ribbing. Colorful textured ribbing on the legs and smooth ribbing throughout the top of feet make these socks fun-to-knit and good-fitting, too!

Adult medium. Fingering weight yarn: 200 yards multi-color, 200 yards contrast color. 8 stitches/inch, size U.S. 1/2.5 mm needle suggested. Shown in Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock color #66 Embers and Heirloom Argyle color #484 Black. Written instructions.

Instructions are given for making the twisted stitch traveling cables either with or without a cable needle. The method without a cable needle can be applied to making any cables in general without a cable needle!
