Heritage Yarns' long color repeats
are ideal for this scarf as it is cast-on lengthwise causing color to
travel the length of the scarf. The clustered pattern stitch
and eyelet stripe sections which
frame and divide the cat's cradle areas further emphasize the length-wise
color placement. Included with the pattern are blocking directions that
can be used for this and other lace scarves.
Size 5
U.S. (3.75 mm) needles
suggested. Allow 450 yards of yarn for blocked measurements of 6½"
by 70". As a bonus, the pattern includes instructions for
adjustment in size. Keep in mind that yardage needed will
vary if you choose to adjust the size.

yarn with high sheen and wonderful drape. A fingering weight
such as Serenity or Cloud 9
