A
Beaded Bias Towards Lace Scarf - #A60
This is the very easiest of lace
patterns. Color moves diagonally in this scarf because of the bias
design and makes a striking scarf. Let the yarn and simple design do
the work for you with a hand painted, variegated yarn. The pattern
includes directions for an optional crochet beaded edge.
Yarn
suggestions: (F)
The kit includes:
-
The
space-saver version of the pattern
-
325 yds. of Heritage Yarns hand
painted 8/2 tencel
-
15 gm of complementary Miyuki 8/0 beads
-
Organza-trimmed drawstring project bag
Or choose from any of these
fine yarns:
This is a fun scarf
to knit!

My
Beading Heart Scarf - #H47
This fashionable, lightweight
scarf is a little faster to knit than the average beaded scarf.
Laceweight yarn in close-valued hues is doubled to add depth of
texture and color. Another double feature is the different, yet
coordinating, beaded ends of the scarf. The central portion of the
scarf is worked in an easier bias fashion with beads along the edges for
a lighter weight scarf that will pleat nicely around the neck.
Allow 400 yards of lace weight
yarn for 5" x 56" scarf. Gauge = 6 stitches/inch over beaded lace
pattern stitch with yarn doubled, size U.S. 7/4.5 mm needles suggested.
25 g size 8/0 seed beads. Charted and written stitch instructions
included in pattern.
