 River
is the name of a yarn that I have brought out of retirement
as there seems to be none quite like it. Highly
textured with dramatic sheen and drape, this yarn makes a
great weft or knitting yarn. It shown here in Topsail
Island and is currently available in three or four
colorways. More colorways will be added in time. |
Jojoland Yarns
You've asked for
wool sock yarns - good, sock yarns - variegated sock yarns -
superwash -
variegated wool merino - and at a good price! I think
you will love the long, gradual repeats of these yarns. The
quality is very good and yardage is high!
Jojoland Harmony Laceweight
If you delight in lace
knitting or very fine weaving yarns, you will love this 100% merino
yarn. The colors alone are beautiful and the hand is too.
Put-up is on 50g/880 yd. balls. A couple of these is enough
for almost any shawl!
Jojoland Melody
Superwash
What a
delightful fingering weight yarn. Well-suited for socks
but don't stop there. Equally as nice in many scarf and
shawl patterns. Conveniently machine-washable.

I like to work with and, in turn, think you will like them too.
Jaggerspun Zephyr is 50% Silk Tussah/50% Merino. Since most don't need a
pound of laceweight or light worsted weight yarns, I decided to put
these up in small quantities so that you could have a little of
each.

Zephyr 2/18 is put up on 1.4 oz./500 yd. skeins, ample yardage
for most
lace scarves and at a very low price so that you can knit a bevy
of scarves. It makes a great weft yarn too and paired with
8/2 Tencel,
a wonderful combination of matte and sheen. Very lightweight
warmth.

was purchased and put up in two colors especially for women's
health issues. Put-up is on a 3.2 oz./200 yd. skein and
available in yarn only. Don't
miss knitting with this wonderful yarn.

Luscious is a good name for this cotton sock yarn from
Kolláge Yarns! You will love the hand and the fiber
content of 63% cotton/37% Nylon/Elastic. Put up is on a 55
gm/185 yd. ball. And not just for socks! Great for
sweaters too!
