Smoky
Places
Don, my husband, named this colorway after the
top-forties song from the sixties, "Smoky Places", by the Corsairs. Unlike the lyrics, it is conservative enough for office
attire with just enough
"show" where the colors of black and grays shift with an occasional
hint of blue, eggplant and green tones. Smoky Places would be equally
suited for a handwoven tuxedo scarf.
Shown below is Jackie E-S's
Silk
Smoke smoke ring in 8/2 tencel. This yarn will work for any of
the HeartStrings laceweight
scarves
or
shawls.
Warp, weave or knit with this
laceweight yarn. Suggested sett is 20 epi for plain weave and 24 for a
simple twill.
