Heritage Yarns Newsletter #39
September 8, 2006
Hello everyone,
Hope the summer has been kind to
you. We have had a fairly mild summer considering some we have had
in the past. The last few days have brought on a welcome promise of
fall and time to be spent at the loom and with knitting needles in hand.
I am finding a desire to slow
down and enjoy the process rather than the large production of yarns I
have dyed in years past and hope you find the changes to your
liking. You will see a few new colorways and a few retired colorways pop
up from time to time in limited quantities and in various yarns. I
enjoy change and hope you do as well.
There have also been some changes
in the website with hopes of making it a little easier for those on
dial-up and easier for all to shop and be inspired.
On to the news.
Dyeing for your knitting and
weaving pleasure,
Margaret <><

What's New in Knitting Kits - Easy
Asymmetry Wrap Knitting Kit

Shown from left: Easy
Assymetry Wrap knitted in - Atlantic Moonglow Cloud 9, Atlantic Moonglow
Premier 5/2 and Plum Fringe Benefit.
Create a one-of-a kind designer look with your
choice of three yarns in this easy-to-knit, easy-to-wear knitted wrap.
This is a great pattern for using a mix of novelty and "stash"
yarns. The shaping is done with a simple one-row super-easy lace
pattern that knits naturally on the diagonal.
Each of the three yarns will be knit for one
row, then the sequence repeated, thus giving lots of color and textural
interaction.
The model above was knitted in Atlantic
Moonglow Cloud 9, Atlantic Moonglow Premier 5/2 and Plum Fringe Benefit
and is available in a kit in this colorway combination and six others
including:
Black and Gray in a Rainbow World/Natural,
Blue Bayou/Dusty Blue, Rose Garden/Rose, Sagebrush/Teal, Summer Haze/Dusty
Blue and Tallahatchee Bridge/Dark Green.
You may purchase kits at
Easy Asymmetry Wrap Knitting Kit.
Pattern is available at
Triangle Shawl Knitting Patterns and Other Interesting Shapes.
