Special Issue #2 - Knitalong!

Ever
wanted to knit lace and were afraid to try? Now's your chance to
knit along with us as we knit the very simple HeartStrings FiberArts'
Elegantly Simple Triangular Shawl. No need for trepidation as Mary
Hunt, an accomplished knitter, will be conducting and, designer and master
knitter, Jackie E-S, will step in to say 'hi' and be on standby for
questions. I am happy to be of service as well and will be knitting
right along with you on my third Elegantly Simple Triangular Shawl.
The projected starting date is
May 1 but you may drop in at any time.
What is a Knitalong?
Each participant knits the same item with their own choice of yarn with
guidance from more experienced knitters while enjoying the motivation and
camaraderie of a group.
What are the rules?
Have fun!
What do I need to do to participate?
Sign up at Promotion
Purchase or have on hand a Elegantly Simple
Triangular Shawl pattern prior to May 1, 2006. (You may also drop in after
May 1.)
And, purchase or have on hand a suitable yarn.
What is a suitable yarn?
Any relatively fine yarn will work.
Need more information?
Participate and follow along on the
Knit
Along Blog where the
fun will take place.
You can post notes and pictures in order that we
can celebrate everyone's progress and success!
