Happy fall, y'all!

Many of you have contacted me for a progress report on the new 20% silk/80% rayon.  I am happy to say that tests and pictures are now complete and ready for your selection.

The link provided is not linked to any other page on the website at this time in order that guild members, newsletter and special offer subscribers will have first opportunity to purchase from the limited amount available.

There are approximately 1050 yards on a 8 oz. skein.  Suggested weaving sett is 14-20 EPI.  Knitting gauge is approximately 6 stitches per inch over stockinette on a size 5/U.S. knitting needle.  I recommend using bamboo or wooden knitting needles.  It has a little more sheen than the last silk/rayon, doesn't split on knitting needles and the silk is carded well so that it is a very smooth yarn with a delightful hand and heavy drape.  There is a limited supply and for a very limited time will be offered at the special introductory price of $22/8 oz. skein in special order/hand painted or $11/8oz. skein/natural.  Payment will be requested at time of delivery.

The colorways offered are not in stock but will be dyed especially for you. Simply fill out the form at Promotion with your contact information and the quantity next to the colorway(s) you wish to purchase and be sure to click submit.  I will have no way of contacting you if you do not provide your contact information on the form.  I will send you a PayPal request for payment when your yarn is ready.  Optionally, you may call me at (601) 956-1478 with your Visa or MasterCard information or mail a personal check or money order to Heritage Yarns, 5875 Baxter Dr., Jackson, MS  39211-3317.  Personal checks must clear prior to shipment.  Shipment will be in 6-8 weeks but will depend on volume of orders.
