Beaded Basketweave Ensemble - #A133
A coordinated set that will
tie a simple outfit together. The basketweave-styled beading sets
this ensemble apart from the ordinary.
Knit these in two colors of DK weight
yarn of your choice and size 6/0 seed beads.
The interplay of the knit-purl
basketweave texture and beaded knitting makes this a fun-knit project. The
stitch pattern used for the center portion of the scarf is a slip-stitch
pseudo-ribbing that gives an extra-soft cushion of comfort around your
neck.
Scarf is planned for one size. Size 7
U.S. (4.5 mm) needles suggested.
Crew Socks are sized for Adult
Small [Medium, Large]. Size 2 and 5 [6, 7] U.S. (2.75 and 3.75 [4, 4.5] mm)
needles suggested.
Pictured models knitted in Heirloom
Easycare 8, #711 (for scarf and cuffs of the anklets) and #779 (for ankle
ribbing and feet of the anklets), and Miyuki beads #6-1427 Silver-lined
Violet.

Mix-and-match ensemble of
hat, crew socks and fingerless mittens to knit in two colors of DK
weight yarn of your choice and size 6/0 seed beads.

added depth of color and look of complexity to an otherwise simple
beaded knitting technique.
Hat is sized for Adult
Small-Medium [Large-Extra Large]. Size 5 and 7 U.S. (3.75 and 4.5 mm)
needles suggested.
Crew Socks and Fingerless
Mittens are sized for Adult Small [Medium, Large]. Size 2 and 5 [6,7]
U.S. (2.75 and 3.75[ 4, 4.5] mm) needles suggested.
Pictured models knitted in
Heirloom Easycare 8, #711 (for the lighter yarn) and #779 (for the
darker yarn) and Miyuki beads #6-1427 Silver-lined Violet.

From HeartStrings designer, Jackie
E-S:
The Skinny on Lace long scarf version
shown on the left was knitted in Heritage Yarns Serenity cotton/rayon in the
colorway,
Atlantic Moonglow. Serenity comes in a huge skein 8 ounce skein (700 yds.), so there
is plenty to make looooong scarves like this one (8-½ feet!) and still
have lots of yarn left over to make something else. I love how this
is scarf is extra-long and can be wrapped and tied in so many ways.
