"Wow!  You are fast!  I received my patterns two days ago, only two days after ordering them!  You must understand what it is like to wait for that great pattern you just found and can't wait to start on!  Thank you."  --Paige

Weaving Sett Sleying Sequence Chart

This is a common chart for determining ends per dent in a chosen reed   To use, start at the top with your reed size (in bold numbers) and move down the column until you see your chosen EPI.  Then move to the right under SLEYING SEQUENCE IN THE REED.  For example, if your determined sett is 15 EPI and you have a 10 dent reed, your order of sley in the reed would be 1-2.  If your determined sett is 10 and you have an 8 dent reed, your sett would be 1-1-1-2.   It is not perfect so caution should be used.  For example, if you have determined that your sett should be 19 EPI and have a 15 dent reed, you would be 1 end short in an inch.
